Guess what guys, I just sompeted in my fourth fencing tournament! I was fifteenth out of seventeen, but that ain't too awful bad considering that most of the people in the tournament and all of the people in my pool bouts have atleast twice the fencing experience that I have. I do not consider today a loss, but instead consider it a success since I have learned what I need to do more often in tournaments.

I went to the tournament yesterday and I did pretty well, I was 14/16 and there we're many fencers who are on National teams, in my D/E bout I scored 10 points on the number 4 seed.

In pool bouts, which are basically preliminary bouts, a match goes until someone scores 5 points. In a direct elimination, the bout goes until someone scores 15 points.
