Hailey woke up gasping. She stood up shaking and walked about the shadows. Afraid. Tears were runnig down her face. she decided to sleep behind a big rock hiden in her spot by the shadows

"Hey girl," John starts, "Come back into the firelight so that I can keep an eye on you. I don't mean to sound rude, but I need to see you for me to protect you." John is still just sitting in the shadows with his claymore by his side. He then tosses the remaining roasted rabbit beside the fire. "Y'all can have some if y'all want, it would hurt to put somethin' in your stomach." John says.

Hailey looked at him but decide not to argue. She curled up besides a log that was near the fire. as she starts to wonder she notices some movement somewhere of nearby.She ignored it.Hailey petted Buttercup and went of to sleep

"I think I'll have some..." Hannah said as she gets up and goes over to the fire and picks up, one of the rabbits and begins to eat it. "I still don't understand what happend." She said quietly.

Hailey looked at the girl as she woke up and then walked off and came back. "I think i'll have some too." She said ripping herself off a bit of meat and sitting down by the fire.

John just happened to be on the last watch meaning that he was already up when the sun creeped up from behind the trees. He then made short work of waking everybody up.
"We need to get a move on today if we want to get anything done, besides, those woods are givin' me the creeps." He said

"your telling me," Said Hannah sitting up. "I think something in there has been stareing me the whole night, so I am willing to go now." She stands and dusts herself off.

Hailey also stood up and brushed herself up. She listened to the other two and glanced at the woods. "Same with me. I wonder if theres actually anything in there." She said.

John put out the fire and scattered the ashes. He then sheathed his sword, attached his crossbow to his belt, and donned his pack. He then jumped to the top of the rock outcropping and scanned the horizon.
"I see a road to the North!" he shouted.
Just the a large spear embedded itself into the rock he was standing on. John then jumped off, dropped his pack and drew his sword as he faced the attacker.
It turned out to be three attackers all of them quite large, but only slightly larger then John himself; however, they all had quite large muscles and carried spears and swords.

Hailey was woken up by all the comotion. Buttercup went off barking at the three attackers and She went after he dog.She realized after she was standing right infront of them that they were much bigger and much stronger than herself she frozed to the spot and closed her eyes tight awaiting her faith.

John sees that Haliey had frozen so he dashed forward, grabbed her, and had dragged he to the rocks. He then ran back out into the open with his sword ready to do battle with these beasts. One of the other creatures threw it's spear at him, but John dodged it, grabbed the spear and hurled it back into the creature's head killing it.
The biggest one looked at john and said "Me kill you!" then it rushed at John with it's sword trying to kill him, but john was able to deflect every attack; however, the creature's attacks were so swift that it was all he could do to deflect the heavy blows.

Hailey looked at the two remaining beasts. She quickly drew her crossbow and shot at the one attacking John, and it fell, its throat peirced with deadly accuracy by her bolt.

Hannah looks at the commotion for a moment then notices the third thing what ever it is, is now charging at her. Hannah quickly steps back startled, then picks up the weapon she found earlier, as it gets closer not far from her now, she closes her eyes and swings at it.

John quickly realized that Hannah's attack would fail, so he jumps slightly infront of her and parries a heavy blow from the creature. He quickly realizes that this one is extremely slow, so he sidesteps an attack, jumps up and slices the creature's head clean off.
After the last creature dies, John goes around and stabs the other two corpses just to make sure. After he had finished that, he wiped off his blade and sheathed it.
"We need to get moving, but i think we aughta follow the tracks of these....things....maybe they have some treasure or somethin'" John said as he picked up one of the spears.
