Túrin I Sixth Ruling Steward of Gondor. Turin I was born in 2165. He was the third child of the Steward Hurin I. Turin I married twice. He had several daughters and one son, Hador, who was his last child, born in 2245. Turin I ruled as Steward from 2244 until his death in 2278. He was succeeded by Hador. Names & Etymology: The name Túrin is composed of the element túr meaning "power, mastery, victory" and inn or ind meaning "mood, heart, inner thought."
