Húrin I Fifth Ruling Steward of Gondor. Hurin I was born in 2124. He was the son of the Steward Belegorn. Hurin I was Steward of Gondor from 2204 until his death in 2244. He was succeeded by his son Turin I. Names & Etymology: The name Hurin is composed of hûr meaning "readiness for action, vigor, fiery spirit" and inn meaning "inner thought, meaning, heart."
