Herubrand Man of Rohan. Herubrand fought and died in the Battle of the Pelennor Fields on March 15, 3019. He was buried with his comrades near Minas Tirith and his name was remembered in song. Names & Etymology: The name Herubrand means "flaming sword in Old English from heoru meaning "sword" and brand meaning "flame."
