Fréawine Fifth King of Rohan. Freawine was born in 2594. He was the son of King Frea. Freawine succeeded his father as King in 2659, and Rohan's period of peace and prosperity continued through his reign. Freawine died in 2680 and was followed by his son Goldwine. Names & Etymology: Fréawine means "lord and friend" in Old English.
