Celepharn Fourth King of Arthedain in the North-kingdom. Celepharn was the son of Mallor. He was born in 979. Celepharn succeeded his father as King of Arthedain in 1110. During his reign around 1150, the Fallohide and Stoor branches of Hobbits moved into Eriador. Celepharn ruled until his death in 1191. He was followed by his son Celebrindor. Names & Etymology: The name Celepharn may be composed of the word celeb meaning "silver" and sarn meaning "stone."
