Araglas Sixth Chieftain of the Dunedain. Araglas was born in 2296. He was the son of Aragorn I. When Aragorn I was killed by wolves in 2327, Araglas became the leader of his people. Araglas died in 2455 and was succeeded by his son Arahad I. Names & Etymology: The name Araglas may mean "royal joy" from ara meaning "royal, king" and glass meaning "joy."
