Ok so we are gonna have a poetry contest, basically you write any type of poem you want and enter it and after a couple weeks we will put it up in the polls and see whos is liked best soooo post you poems if you want to participate.

Ok here is my looovvvly poem
“The Last Night”
All is quiet
Save for one soft sound
The lullaby a mother sings to her child
It comes from a young maiden
Sitting high in a tree
Starring out across a snow laden field
She sits with her back to the trunk
With the wind behind her
Sweeping her long, dark tresses
Across her starlight face
She wears a dress as white as the snow before her
Draped gracefully over the bough
Like ravens wings
This is Mother Nature
The undying, everlasting beauty
That covers the Earth
And as she sings
She calls the stars out of the starless sky
Into a blazing brilliance that maps out all eternity
The stars join her song and awaken the moon
And all the nighttime creatures that stalk in the shadows
They all sing together
They and the wind
Weaving a last night of peace on earth
As the song changes and the red sun rises
To shed the last warm rays of light on the land
Mother Nature sighs
For Father Time has decided
And all human kind will cease to exist
And as payment for their sins
Their last hope of renewal
The earth must perish to
