Evriel ran up beside East and looked down. "We're gonna have to go get her." She said reaching inside a light pack she was carrying and pulling out a long rope. "Here tie this to your waist and i'll tie the other side to a tree." She said grabbing one end and very securely tying it to a tree nearby.

After a while of walking Kitaria stops and sits down on the path, Herman approches Kitaria, who now begins to pet him.

East tied the rope around her waist and went to the edge of the canyon.

Evriel held the other side of the rope as to not let her drop off. She lowered her slowly so that she could walk down the side of the cliff and get to her fallen sister. She finally got to the end of teh rope just as her friend reached the little ledge where her sister was.

Looks up towards the canyon, after hearing a warg howl. "Maybe I should of warn them about the wargs..." Hastily gets up and rushes towards the Canyon, Herman climbs up a near by tree.

East grabbed her sister but she wasn't heavy at all. She kissed the top of her forhead and gave the signal to Evriel and Thandwen. Then she heard a growl. She looked around and wondered what it was but Evriel and Thandwen had already started lifting her up.

Another growl is heard much louder then the other one, and to everyones horror a large warg is on a near by ledge. Its teeth are bared, and looks like its ready to pounce.

Evriel looked around and saw the creature on the nearby ledge. "Quickly lets get her up!" She said pulling harder to get her friend out of the creature's range.

The warg runs and jumps, and snaps at east, the teeth barely missing her, and then lands on the ledge that they where on not long ago.

Evriel strained herself to pull her friend and her little sister up. Finally she got her into her own reach and pulled them both over the edge.

Suddenly the twang of a bow is heard followed by the yelp of the warg and the thud of it's heavy body hitting the canyon bottom. A tall figure holding a bow stands up on another ledge not far from the others and says "got 'im; bloody wargs, always trying to kill travelers." He then waves at the travelers.

Evriel looked at the man gratefully, throwing the rope aside and looking at her hands which were red. "Thanks." She said to the archer.
